Security

How we protect your data, systems and users.

Every project follows our AI Engineering Quality Standard: risks are assessed before we build, access is kept to the minimum, and AI never acts where a person should decide. We don't claim certifications we don't hold; we show you how we work.

  • Risk assessed first
  • Least-privilege access
  • Secrets kept server-side
  • Every trust boundary mapped

6 principles · applied on every project

Principles

Six rules every build follows.

  • Risk assessed first

Each AI feature is placed in a risk tier before it's built. Higher tiers need stronger evaluation, logging, human review and independent sign-off.

  • Least-privilege access

Per-environment credentials, minimum necessary permissions, and production data accessed only by approved people for an approved purpose.

  • Secrets kept server-side

Secrets live in managed server-side storage, never in code, prompts or the browser. Prompts are never the only control on access.

  • Every trust boundary mapped

We draw how data moves between the browser, your systems, the model provider and any external API, before we build.

  • Dependencies checked

SDKs, models and packages are inventoried; CI runs dependency checks and secret scanning.

  • Data classified and retained on purpose

Inputs, outputs, logs and evaluation data are classified, with retention periods and deletion agreed with you.

AI and release

Controls on AI, and gates before launch.

We don't claim full security, zero errors or compliance certifications. Where your project needs legal, security or regulatory sign-off, we plan it in with your reviewers from the start.

AI that stays under control

  • Evaluation against agreed thresholds before launch
  • Human review wherever a wrong answer matters
  • Actions that move money or change records need approval
  • Audit logs of what AI did, and the ability to undo it
  • Grounded answers, with a defined path when the AI isn't sure

Before anything goes live

  • Architecture and data-flow review
  • Privacy review and control tests
  • An incident path agreed with you
  • Release gates with rollback and handover
  • Monitoring, alerts and re-evaluation after launch

FAQ

Questions

  • Will you sign an NDA?

Yes, ask us. We're happy to agree confidentiality terms before you share anything sensitive.

  • Do you need our customer data to start?

No. Discovery works with descriptions, samples you approve and synthetic data. We never ask for credentials or datasets through our website.

  • Which AI model providers do you use?

It depends on the project. Each provider is reviewed for data processing, retention and training settings before your data reaches it.

  • Who owns the code and data?

You do. Ownership of code, data, infrastructure and IP is agreed in scoping, and everything is handed over with documentation.
